Comstock Inc. (NYSEAMERICAN: LODE) is a company focused on decarbonization technologies, including solar panel recycling and the strategic management of its legacy mining assets. On August 6, 2026, CEO Corrado Degasperis purchased 7,250 shares of Comstock at $3.04 per share, increasing his total holdings to 188,750 shares.

This insider purchase aligns with reports of a stronger balance sheet. The company ended the second quarter with approximately $31.40 million in cash and no debt. Its total working capital, the funds available for daily operations, stands at $39.90 million, derived from $58.10 million in current assets and $18.20 million in current liabilities.

Comstock is also monetizing its legacy assets, with an expected $20 million cash infusion in August from the sale of its mining properties. This transaction removes significant liabilities and costs from its books while retaining potential future income through royalties, as highlighted by MarketBeat.

Operationally, the company has completed major spending on its first solar panel recycling facility. With commissioning nearly finished, continuous operations are set to begin in August. This marks a significant step as Comstock transitions its focus toward its new recycling and product upgrading business.

Despite these strategic moves, the company reported a second-quarter loss of $0.13 per share on revenues of $0.27 million. As noted by Zacks Investment Research, these figures missed consensus estimates, and the company has a recent history of falling short of revenue expectations.
