Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ: BTDR) is a technology company that focuses on Bitcoin mining and is expanding into AI infrastructure. The company operates and builds data centers and mining facilities, providing services for both its own operations and for other clients in the cryptocurrency and high-performance computing sectors.

On August 10, 2026, Bitdeer announced its second-quarter financial results. The company reported an earnings per share of -$0.37, which was slightly below the analyst consensus estimate of -$0.36. This metric shows the portion of the company's profit allocated to each outstanding share of common stock; a negative number indicates a net loss.

Despite the earnings miss, Bitdeer posted revenue of $228.80 million for the quarter. This figure surpassed the estimated $228.67 million. This revenue performance comes as the company makes strategic moves, including its entry into the AI Infrastructure Colocation Market, as highlighted by Seeking Alpha.

A key part of this strategy is a 16-year lease for an AI data center at its Tydal, Norway campus. This deal is expected to generate about $4.70 billion in revenue. The facility will be powered entirely by renewable energy and is set to become one of Norway's largest and most efficient data centers.

The company's financial metrics show it is not currently profitable, with a trailing Price-to-Earnings (P/E) ratio of -4.51. This ratio compares the company's stock price to its earnings per share. Bitdeer also has a Debt-to-Equity ratio of 2.78, which indicates the company uses more debt than equity to finance its assets.
