MongoDB, Inc. (NASDAQ: MDB), a leading modern, general-purpose database platform provider, is preparing to release its upcoming quarterly earnings report on September 1, 2026. The company's platform helps developers build and run applications across various environments, from the cloud to on-premise data centers. Investors are closely watching its performance and the impact of its cloud solutions.

Wall Street analysts have established an earnings per share (EPS) estimate of $1.62 for the quarter. EPS represents the company's profit allocated to each outstanding share of stock. The consensus revenue forecast is approximately $735.01 million. Other estimates, as highlighted by Benzinga, project a similar EPS of $1.61 and revenue of $734.40 million.

A key area of focus for investors is MongoDB's cloud-hosted Atlas segment. As noted by analysts at UBS, this segment is expected to see its fifth straight quarter of 29–30% growth. This performance would surpass the company's own conservative guidance of 26% growth, suggesting stronger-than-anticipated demand from AI-native customers leveraging its database services.

Analysts are also monitoring revenue from the non-Atlas part of the business, which is guided for 20% growth. Looking ahead, UBS indicates that Atlas would need to add $40–45 million in sequential dollars to keep its growth rate between 29% and 30% for another quarter, a key metric for future cloud database performance.

Reflecting positive sentiment, D.A. Davidson analyst Rudy Kessinger maintained a "Buy" rating for MongoDB and increased the price target from $375 to $465. This follows a period in which MongoDB shares gained 1.4%, closing at $446.62. The company's financial health shows a very low debt-to-equity ratio of 0.01, indicating strong financial stability.
