SkinHealth Systems (NASDAQ: SKIN) Announces Reverse Stock Split for Nasdaq Compliance

• SkinHealth Systems (NASDAQ: SKIN) is set to execute a 1-for-20 reverse stock split on October 14, 2026, aiming to adjust its share price.
• The primary objective of this reverse split is to help SkinHealth Systems regain compliance with Nasdaq's crucial $1 minimum bid price requirement.
• While the reverse split will proportionally increase the stock price, it does not inherently guarantee long-term compliance or stability in the market price.

SkinHealth Systems, the stock, is scheduled for a 1-for-20 reverse stock split on October 14, 2026. The company’s board approved the split of its Class A common stock. It is set to take effect at 12:00 a.m. ET, with trading at the adjusted price expected to begin that morning under the SKIN ticker.

A reverse split combines shares without changing an investor’s share of the company. For every 20 shares held before this split, an investor will hold one afterward. The price per share typically rises by the same ratio, though its market price can still change during trading.

Shareholders authorized a reverse split at a September 22 special meeting and left the final ratio to the board. SkinHealth Systems says the move is intended to help it regain compliance with Nasdaq’s $1 minimum bid requirement. That rule concerns the price at which shares trade; a higher price from the split alone does not guarantee lasting compliance.

SkinHealth Systems is trading at $0.53, down $0.03, or 4.55%. Shares have traded between $0.51 and $0.54 today and between $0.50 and $1.74 over the past year. The company’s market capitalization, the total market value of its shares, is approximately $68 million. Trading volume is 531,267 shares.
